LIC Kommesk-Omir JSC received license No. 2.2.16 dated February 1, 2023, issued by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the regulation and development of the financial market for the right to carry out insurance activities in the life insurance industry.

On February 28, 2023, a decision was made on the voluntary reorganization of LIC Kommesk-Omir JSC and LIC Centras Kommesk Life JSC in the form of the merger of LIC Centras Kommesk Life JSC with LIC Kommesk-Omir JSC.

On 03.10.2022, a decision was made to change the name to JSC «Life Insurance Company \"Kommesk-Omir» and the insurance industry, as well as to transfer the insurance portfolio in the «general insurance» industry to JSC «IC «Centras Insurance».

November 19 marked the 30th anniversary of the founding of JSC IC Kommesk-Omir.

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of B- (Fair) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of \"bb-” for Kommesk-Omir Insurance Company JSC (Kommesk) (Kazakhstan). The outlook of these Credit Ratings (ratings) remains stable.

Centras Kommesk Life LIC JSC obtained a license No. 2.2.55 dated 07.04.2020 issued by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Market Regulation and Development RSE for the right to carry out insurance activities in the life insurance sector.

A new license No. 2.1.63 dated January 22, 2019 issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan was obtained for 4 mandatory and 16 voluntary types.

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of B- (Fair) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of \"bb-” for Kommesk-Omir Insurance Company JSC (Kommesk) (Kazakhstan). The outlook of these Credit Ratings (ratings) remains stable.

On October 25, 2018, a rebranding campaign started. The symbol of infinity, reflected in a new logo, has become a new key semantic image. The stylization of the infinity sign fits in very harmoniously with the concept of endless care, love, safety and support.
The logo means constant movement, and the continuous line easily changes shape and periodically forms the \"K\" letter. Bright rich colors, brevity of the Kommesk corporate name and modern font give a reference to the future and novelty, which, in turn, give the Company\"s customers a firm confidence in their carefree future.

On April 27, 2018, the company organized the Kazakhstan Marketing Conference 2018. This platform will become a regular platform for discussing topical issues of the professional community of marketers in Kazakhstan.

On April 19, 2018, the A.M. International rating agency Best increased the ratings of JSC Insurance Company Kommesk-Өmіr - financial strength rating from C ++ to B- and the long-term credit rating of the issuer from \"b +\" to \"bb-\". Forecast \"stable\" rating. \"Kommesk-Өмір\" is included in the TOP-5 insurance companies based on the rating of insurance companies operating in the general insurance industry.

On January 15, 2018, JSC IC Kommesk-Omir and JSC IC Salem executed an agreement on transfer of the insurance portfolio of JSC IC Salem pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan \"On Insurance Activities\" and the Rules for transfer of an insurance portfolio and special aspects of transfer of an insurance portfolio after the day of entry into force of the court ruling on compulsory liquidation of an insurance (reinsurance) organization, and in the event of conservation or withdrawal of a license of an insurance (reinsurance) organization approved by the Regulation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 303 dated December 26, 2016.
As a result of the insurance portfolio transfer, JSC IC Kommesk-Omir acquired the status of insurer with respect to the insurance contract executed earlier by JSC IC Salem under four classes in a compulsory form of insurance.

On May 31, 2018, the magazine \"Vestnik Kommesk-Omir\" became a winner in the nomination \"The Best External Corporate Magazine–2018\" based on the results of the XI Central Asian Competition of Corporate Mass Media within the framework of the XIV International PR Forum.

Based on the reputational rating of Kazakhstan companies \"Top Zhargan\"-2018, Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir ranked second among organizations of the financial sector.

In October, the V Annual Kazakhstan HR Forum \"HR Innovations - Ideas, Creativity, Mobility\" was held. 

In May, A.M. Best International rating agency confirmed the credit rating b+ with the forecast \"Stable\" for JSC IC Kommesk-Omir.

In May, Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir received a diploma from EUROBAK for its activities in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program. The company was recognized for its participation in the project \"Eco-Containers for Garbage\".

In October, the IV Annual Kazakhstan HR Forum \"HR Territory as a Parallel Reality\" was held.

In February, Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir again received an award from EUROBAK for its activities in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program. The company was recognized for the project \"Aid to Veterans of the Railway Industry\" in the nomination \"Support of Veterans\".

In February, A.M. Best International rating agency confirmed the credit rating b+ with the forecast \"Stable\" for JSC IC Kommesk-Omir.

In October, the 3rd Annual Kazakhstan HR Forum \"Evolution of HR: Best Tools in Practice\" was held.

In February, Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir again received an award from EUROBAK for its activities in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

In December, the new corporate website and e-shop were launched offering the most popular insurance products: compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of motor vehicles, comprehensive and collision motor vehicle insurance, property insurance, medical insurance, accident insurance, foreign travel insurance, etc.

On October 21, Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir organized and
held the 2nd Annual Kazahhstan HR Forum \"HR Technologies: Development of Leadership and Attraction of Talent\".

In June, the international rating agency Мoody’s Investors Service confirmed the international rating of the financial strength of the insurer - JSC Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir at the level B3, forecast \"Stable\".

In March, in Almaty the official opening of the second medical center of LLP \"SOS Medical Assistance\" took place.

On December 13, at the annual reports competition organized by the rating agency Expert RA Kazakhstan, the annual report of Kommesk-Omir for 2012 was the winner in two nominations: \"The Best Annual Report in the Financial Sector\" and \"Design and Printing\".

In October, insurance company Kommesk-Omir, based on the results of the statistics rating of National Business Rating, was included in TOP‑5 \"Industry Leader - 2013\" under OKED 65.12.2 (non-state insurance of damage) among major enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan that was conducted pursuant to General Classifier of Types of Economic Activities (OKED) approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 67 dated May 20, 2008.
In October, the branch of the company in Pavlodar, based on the results of the statistics grading that was conducted by the National Business Rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pursuant to the General Classifier of Types of Economic Activities (OKED), was included in TOP 90 of the best enterprises of the year \"Industry Leader - 2013\" under OKED 65.12.2 (non-state insurance of property) based on the results of performance in 2011-2012.

In August, the international rating agency Мoody’s Investors Service confirmed the international rating of the financial strength of the insurer - JSC Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir at the level B3, forecast \"Stable\". Moody’s also confirmed the company\"s financial strength rating according to the national scale at the level B3.kz.

In March, the company executed a contract of reinsurance of catastrophic risks CAT XL.

On January 31, insurance company Kommesk-Omir was the initiator of the first topical seminar in Almaty \"State-of-the-Art IT Solutions for the Insurance Industry\".

On December 11, within the framework of the 1st Practical Conference \"Annual Reports: Leaders\" Experience and New Standards\" arranged by the rating agency Expert RA Kazakhstan, insurance company Kommesk-Omir ranked first in the rating of annual reports for 2011. The annual report of Kommesk-Omir was the winner in three categories: \"The Best Annual Report in the Financial Sector\", \"The Best Interactive Annual Report\" and \"Design and Printing\".

In December, the Center of Comprehensive and Collision Motor Vehicles Insurance was launched.

In October, Kommesk-Omir made one of the largest insurance payments in the history of the Kazakhstan insurance market, equal to over 4 billion tenge, for an insured event as a result of fire.

On January 1, the new IT system \"KIAS: Insurance\" was implemented.

On December 30 the license for insurance (reinsurance) activities in the area \"general insurance\" in connection with inclusion of the following insurance classes in a voluntary form was re-issued:
· water transport insurance;
· civil liability insurance of owners of water transport;
· insurance of legal costs.

On December 13, on the threshold of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the founder and Honorable President of Kommesk-Omir Yevgeniy Kan and the First Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board Vladimir Akentyev were awarded the medals \"20 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan\".

On November 23, within the framework of the 3rd Economic Forum \"Expert-100\" held in Astana, the annual report of Kommesk-Omir, dedicated to the topic \"20 years on the wave of success\", was awarded the winner\"s diploma in the nomination \"Best Annual Report in the Financial Sector\".

In August, the payment center was opened.

On January 31, 2011 the international rating agency Мoody’s Investors Service confirmed the financial strength rating B3, and rating forecast of \"Stable\".

In December, victory in the annual nomination \"Newsmaker\" Interfax-Kazakhstan\" (\"NIK\"), established in 2010 by the \"Interfax-Kazakhstan\" information agency. Dmitry Zherebyatiev, Chairman of the Managing Board of JSC IC Kommesk-Omir, was ranked \"Best Speaker of \"Interfax-Kazakhstan,\" 2010\". Kommesk-Omir became one of three leaders among the most cited insurance companies of Kazakhstan.

In September, Kommesk-Omir joined the European Business Association of Kazakhstan (EUROBAK). 

On July 14, by the resolution of the Board of Directors, Eldar Sovetovich Abdrazakov was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC IC Kommesk-Omir. 

In June, the company completed the change of legal form of regional business units from LLP to branches. Thus, 13 branches of the company were registered and proceeded to work. Moreover, regional representative offices of JSC IC Kommesk-Omir operate in 7 other cities of Kazakhstan.

In March of 2010, the service provider \"SOS Medical Assistance\" was separated in the form of an LLP, with a state license for medical activities.

On November 16, 2009, the international rating agency Мoody’s Investors Service for the first time assigned JSC IC Kommesk-Omir the financial strength rating according to the global scale B3, and a rating forecast of \"Stable\".

On June 1, the service center \"SOS Medical Assistance\" was launched in JSC IC Kommesk-Omir. The primary tasks of \"SOS Medical Assistance\" are arranging 24-hour medical aid to insured customers of the company and rendering consultancy services. 

In December, at a conference held by the Association of National Freight Forwarders of Kazakhstan, for creation of state-of-the-art technologies of the insurance industry for railway transport, the company received the certificate \"Reliable Partner\".

In November, the training center was established. The primary tasks of the training center are continuous enhancement of the qualification of specialists and agents of the company and training of new employees. 

In May - June, regional business units were launched in Shu, Balkhash and Shymkent. 

In June, shares of JSC IC Kommesk-Omir were included in the official list of JSC Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. Placement of shares on the stock exchange is demonstrates the transparency of the company\"s activities and the greater protection of interests of policy holders.

On April 17, the license 1-9/1 was received for insurance under the classes \"insurance of loans\" and \"insurance of other financial losses\" was received.

Increase of authorized capital to 300 mln tenge. 

Following the results of the nationwide festival-competition \"Choice of the Year 2006\", Kommesk-Omir was acknowledged as \"Insurance Company No. 1 of 2006 in Kazakhstan\". 

JSC IC Kommesk-Omir took first place among insurance companies in the competition \"Automotive Service\" in 2006.

On February 24 the new license (License No. 1-7/1) for insurance under the class \"ecological insurance\" was received.

Diploma \"Insurance Company No. 1 in Kazakhstan\", based on the results of the festival-competition \"Choice of the Year\" of the 2005 season, was received.

On July 1 the license 1-6/1 for compulsory civil liability insurance of employers for causing injury to life and health of employees during the performance of their employment duties was received.

On February 2 the license 1-5/1 for the right to carry out compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of hazardous facilities, operation of which is connected with a danger of causing injury to third parties, was received. 

On September 20 licenses of the new model for number one for the right to carry out insurance activities for compulsory and voluntary general insurance and reinsurance were received.

The company received the diploma \"Insurance Company No. 1 in Kazakhstan\" based on the results of the festival-competition \"Choice of the Year\" of the 2004 season and the diploma \"Medical Insurance Company No. 1 in Kazakhstan\" based on the results of the festival-competition \"Choice of the Year\" of the 2004 season.

The general meeting of shareholders decided to increase the authorized capital of the company to 204 mln tenge. 

By the decision of the international advisory board \"Global Rating\", at the international summit \"Global Rating Leaders 2003\" (London, UK), JSC Kommesk-Omir was awarded the honorary international award - Gold Medal \"International Gold Medal Award\", a symbol of success and achievements in quality and efficiency. The company became a member of the private exclusive club of generally recognized leaders of industry, science, business and worldwide trade \"Global Rating Leaders Club\".

On November 29, the Gold Start of the festival-competition \"Choice of the Year - 2002\" was awarded to insurance company No. 1 - JSC IC Kommesk-Omir. 

On July 30 the company joined the membership of the insurance pool \"Keden Insurance\".

Membership in the insurance pool \"Korgau\" created at the initiative of JSC Kommesk-Omir.

Based on the results of the national festival-competition \"Choice of the Year – 2001\", Kommesk-Omir was recognized as the best company for quality of insurance services. The high professionalism of specialists of JSC Kommesk-Omir was recognized by the prize \"2001 Quality Academy in Kazakhstan\". 

On June 11 the company received the new model of state license for number one for the right to carry out insurance activities for reinsurance that allows carrying out proportional and non-proportional reinsurance.

On March 29 the company received the new model of state licenses for number one for the right to carry out insurance activities for compulsory and voluntary general insurance.

Kommesk-Omir Insurance Company increased its authorized capital to 100 million tenge. 

Joining the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan. The license for compulsory insurance of civil liability of private notaries was received.

For the purpose of operational management of assets, an insurance operation automation system was implemented. 

Within the framework of an exclusive partnership, the company cooperates with Zurich Insurance Company on the insurance market of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The company became a member of the Public Fund of Insurers of the Republic of Kazakhstan \"Motor Bureau\" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
Insurance proceeds amounted to 1 billion tenge. 

Joining the Association of National Freight Forwarders of Kazakhstan. 

The license for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles, liability of carriers to passengers and liability to customs authorities was received. 

The license for the main types of insurance was received.

The network of regional branches was created.

November 19 - creation of Joint Stock Commercial Insurance Company Kommesk-Omir. The amount of authorized capital is 4,200,000 rubles.
